spelling and pronunciation in spanish is actually really important for example “my name is” in spanish is “me llamo” but if you say “me lamo” you’re telling people you lick yourself
I think the most important one is the word “year” which is “año” pronouncing it without the accent it makes it “ano” which is asshole. I would always laugh in spanish class when we would have to introduce ourselves and the white ass kids would say they had 15 assholes in spanish
